Starter Dough was the first film produced by Undone Films. It was filmed almost entirely in one night at the Rock'n Robin's Diner in Red Deer, Alberta. Most of the actors you see where people who happened to be in the restaurant as it closed and who agreed to be in the film. The only shots in the movie filmed elsewhere are the radio wave guy screening and the heart broken kid hugging his girlfriend which were both shot near the golf course in Lacombe on the Lindquist residence. This movie won honourable mention at the Red Deer Film Festival in 2002 as well as Best Drama and Audience Grand Prize at the Grande Prairie Lions Club: It's Your Turn International Film Festival.
