Closing 24 hours was shot in the summer of 2002 and completed in the winter of 2003. We have recently gone back and re-edited the movie, which is 10 minutes shorter then the previous version of the film.

There aren't that many good days as a minimum wage worker at the local gas station. But Kim is about to find out what a bad day can do to you. Kim is your typical art school dropout. Looking for mindless work she stumbled into a minimum wage job. A year later her reading material consists of senseless magazines, her wage has increased by fifty cents and she’s still working at the same gas station. But today will be unlike any other for Kim. On little sleep, she ends up working three shifts in a period of 24 hours. After taking all she can from customers and coworkers, her involvement in a robbery reveals what can happen when forced to make impossible decisions.
